About Kew House School

One of three schools that comprise the Gardener Schools Community is Kew House. Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School (London, W6), its sister school, was established in 1991 and Kew Green Preparatory School (London, TW9) was opened in 2004.

Started teaching for 20 years in the state field, Maria and Edward Gardener began a school for local children in their own home on Saturday morning. As teachers of small groups proved so popular, their warmth, ingenuity and efficacy, the classes rapidly shifted to a near church.
