About Eaton Square Upper School

Eaton Square Upper School is a private coeducational secondary day school for children aged 11-18 in London’s Mayfair district, based at 106 Piccadilly, a Grade I-listed townhouse, which opened in September 2017.
06 Piccadilly was designed in 1761 by Robert Adam as the London residence of George Coventry, 6th Earl of Coventry, and was home to the St James’s Club for more than a century.

They boast 5 storey building that can accommodate 300 pupils in aged group from 13 to 16 years old. They have facilities that can offer advanced learning experience and quality education for the students. They have classrooms that are made to provide comfortable and productive environment. They have science laboratories, drama studios and interactive canteen.

For 2021 Entry into Eaton Square Upper School year 7 will use the ISEB Pre-test.

Registration Deadlines & Examination Dates

The Deadline for registration is by Friday 27th November 2020. The ISEB Pre-test can be taken on Friday 4th December 2020, Tuesday 19th January 2021 and Tuesday 23rd February 2021 at Eaton Square Senior School.

In addition to the ISEB test, pupil will have an interview with the school’s senior staff as part of their assessment.

About the ISEB Common Pre-test

The tests take about two-and-a-half hours to complete (English 25 minutes, mathematics 50 minutes, non-verbal reasoning 32 minutes, verbal reasoning 36 minutes) and can be taken together or at separate times, either in the candidate’s own school or at the senior school for which he or she is entered

ISEB Pre-Test Format:  

The test is taken on a computer and consists of multiple-choice questions. It is broken down into four parts: 

  1. English – 25 minutes(reading comprehension, sentence completion, spelling and punctuation) 
  2. Mathematics – 50 minutes(in line with Year 5 of the UK National Curriculum) 
  3. Non-Verbal Reasoning – 32 minutes(shape analogies, classes like, horizontal codes) 
  4. Verbal Reasoning – 36 minutes(common words, antonyms, word combinations, letter transfer and number codes)
